Above: This is Fargesia robusta ‘Campbell’ or Fargesia robusta ‘Pingwu’, they are similar. This plant is tucked away in a corner with native plants nearby. It is looking happy today.

Added some compost we purchased. We like this brand.

We used to live in an area where there was room for a good compost project. We created enough to share. Some photos here.

The video below shows how to prune the fern in early February. We are running a little late this year.

It’s a stressful world. Leave your troubles behind and enjoy some TV from the 1970s.

This was the era of writing, acting, stories, characters, guest stars, costumes and wardrobes, stunt scenes, giant cars, and background music provided by symphony orchestras.

Lately, we have enjoyed:

When I was a kid, reality TV was The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau.

January 11th update-

Thanks go out to my brother who came out and installed the switch below:

He brought along a new rotary timer switch which will go to good use in our other bathroom.

We already had the switch above and primary user of this bathroom prefers the bush button style.

All good. Feelings of gratitude.

December 2nd update-

This video looks like it may be the way to go here:

Original blog entry:

All is working except bath fan timer. Fan is good. Timer is faulty.

Spent some time on the web and have not made progress.

Not looking to do a home remodel.

Does anyone know:

Is the old part available?

Will a new style timer fit in this old switch plate?

Anyone who can provide info will be much appreciated.

Not just this week, but working to keep this emotion in mind at all times.

Will be adding more images here in the days ahead.
