These beers became popular in the last century. They don’t have much flavor and several are similar.
American breweries took this style and then added light beers which would have even less flavor. Maybe not the beers you’d be proud to show off to visitors from other countries. Or maybe the best beers are the ones you enjoy most and they would be enjoyed outside the US too.
I like to enjoy these while sipping a quality shot of Bourbon or Tequila.
Not tossing down shots like I’m in a cowboy movie or frat party, spring break outing, etc. Just sipping.
