To me, the most interesting people in politics are the people who are willing to question their chosen political party.

Rigging the Primaries for Biden/Harris Has a Serious Drawback

W.J. Astore

Iowa and New Hampshire get sidelined in the cause of propping up Joe Biden

“If the DNC had kept the old schedule of Iowa and NH, and Biden had performed poorly in both states, it would have allowed the DNC more notice and time to pivot, or perhaps to craft a message more appealing to voters. Privileging states that are expected to support Biden, in contrast, may breed overconfidence that his support remains strong and his candidacy remains viable against the clear Republican frontrunner, Trump.”

“If you really want to defeat Trump in November, you need the most rigorous vetting process for the Biden/Harris ticket. Rigging the primaries for Biden by deleting Democratic rivals from the ballot, as the DNC has done in Florida, North Carolina, and elsewhere, while effectively throwing out results in Iowa and NH, may ensure both that Biden/Harris win renomination and lose the general election in November.”

Recruiting Crisis

Four-star officers and high level DOD civilians built careers made of undeclared/unwon wars. Now they must mastermind ways to recruit a new generation.

In the news:

“The Military Recruiting Outlook Is Grim Indeed. Loss of Public Confidence, Political Attacks and the Economy Are All Taking a Toll.”

Life wasn’t meant to change after the big Saddam Hussein & Osama bin Laden takedowns:

Vietnam War-style body count?

U.S. airstrikes killed three Islamic militants in Somalia, U.S. Africa Command said Tuesday, marking the first such attacks in 2024.”

BREAKING: The U.S. military struck three facilities in Iraq on Tuesday, targeting an Iranian-backed militia in retaliation for missile and drone attacks on American troops in Iraq and Syria over the past several days.”

Real newspeople and some Americans might ask:

Did the advantage of US air power allow the undeclared wars in Iraq or Afghanistan to be prevented, won or shut down?

US jet aircraft have been able to strike targets in what wars won by the US?

Currently serving four-star officers and high level DOD civilians have been associated with what wars won by the US?

The “Thanks for your service” phrase may have come from some sort of post-Vietnam guilt.

The guilt doesn’t seem to work towards staying out of undeclared/unwon wars.

Operating A Camera In A Public Place

Bay Area Transparency is out to visit a public office.

New video below:

“PUBLIC EMPLOYEES FREAK OUT OVER A CAMERA!!” BLUE LAKE, CA FIRST AMENDMENT

Easy to watch on YouTube for those who desire to do so.

Americans do not live in a free and honest society. Public photography folks go out and prove it over and again. I like them for that.

Operating A Camera In A Public Place

Today, the mainstream media will function like paid actors reading a script:

Private citizens are stepping in and going out with a camera to see and document what is going on.

Instead of waiting for school teachers to teach about individual rights and limited government authority, waiting on the press to ask questions, or courts to handle cases, these guys go out and update us with a quick reality check.

Also not waiting on the overthrow of Saddam Hussein or the take down of the next bad guy in distant lands, as DOD defends the constitution, etc.

Videos recorded at or outside of sites that are funded by the public seem to be best for documenting these issues.

Any TV newsperson could go out and educate the public on their rights/public official’s obligation to provide info, etc. That does not happen.
