“Chavarria was held for more than four hours and released only after he finally agreed to let the agents search his smartphone, tablet, and laptop computer.”
“The agents, who persistently pressured Chavarria to surrender his devices and the passwords for them, informed him that he had no Fourth Amendment right to resist.”
Keeping Us Safe?
Ever notice that strict post 911 CBP protocols never seem to create any shortage of cartel product anywhere in the US?
Kristi Noem’s giant and expensive US Dept. of Homeland Security, the 2025 Vietnam-style drug boat body count, and massing US Border Patrol agents at the southern edge of the Strait of Juan de Fuca fail to keep drugs from arriving in Oak Harbor:

Which community will be first to announce that local drug addicts are having any problem finding their cartel product of choice due to Dept. of War strikes on drug boats?
Which community will be first to announce that first responders are finding less need for Narcan, buprenorphine, Naloxone, fentanyl test strips, or any similar product used in overdose response situations?

Is Kristi Noem’s giant and expensive US Dept. of Homeland Security completely irrelevant here?

Common flashlight batteries are now locked up like diamond jewelry:

Kristi Noem is sealing off the border. Any day now, cartel drugs will no longer be available anywhere in WA.
People will no longer need cash to support a drug habit. There will be no more need to steal, and we can all go back to how things were in the last century.
Back to a time before the US Dept. of Homeland Security was established in 2002. This giant federal agency now has more than two decades of experience and lessons learned in working to prevent cartel product from entering the US. More overdose deaths now, or before DHS?
We’re not impressed.
Credibility squandered, enthusiasm dried up.
