Looks like the final summer for my favorite outdoor chair.
It was like an old pair of blue jeans, it got better as it got older. This is a stay at home chair. We have several newer chairs ready for guests, or if we need to pack along chairs when we head out or head over.
This one had the special ice holder vault built into the left arm. Just the ticket for those who don’t want to unass and reach for a cooler. I never used it even one time. If you did, it would create a swampy condition when the ice was gone and become an incubator for mildew in the warm weather. Same would occur if you hosed off the chair or it got rained on.
Had a couple even more favorite chairs over the years:
I used to love these. They were used constantly until they wore out.
So comfortable, it was great for use as in indoor chair while traveling.
About the time I decided these were the best chair ever made, they became extinct. Haven’t seen one in years. Really don’t remember when or where I bought these.
Car/tent camping means all the groceries show up. No freeze dried/dehydrated/powdered breakfast here:
