March 20, 2025

Public Affairs efforts commence – the word goes out.

Cartels have been placed on notice.

Secretary of Homeland Security delivers no nonsense statements in the March 20, 2025 video posted below.

Cartels have been designated as terrorists.

Homeland Security Vision of Success

Promotional events crafted and controlled by public affairs professionals, staged with major drug hauls, patrol boats, helicopters, etc.

The big campaign features top level team leaders thanking each other.

Well done.

Announcing the number of DOD ground units, US Navy and US Coast Guard vessels sent towards the US/Mexico border demonstrates a sense of commitment.

Pam Bondi thanks the US Coast Guard for preventing cartel product from arriving in the US:

April 9, 2025 – Public Affairs On The Job Again:

“…all the drugs off the streets…”

High levels of confidence in this businesslike event. Unfortunately, questions from the press were not picked up in the audio below.

The claim:

At 5:00 in the video above, the FBI director clams that various federal agencies will “…get all the drugs off the streets…”

“Almost 45,00 pounds of pure, uncut cocaine were seized and 3,800 pounds of marijuana, Bondi said.”

Weeks Later – Cartels Respond

Cartels respond to DHS public affairs efforts by moving record amounts of fentanyl past the jurisdiction of federal agents checking REAL ID (since 2009) at borders, border crossings and ports of entry before the drugs arrive inside the US at various locations.

DOD ground units, US Navy and US Coast Guard vessels sent towards the US/Mexico border appear to have played no role in keeping cartel product from arriving inside the US weeks after the no nonsense statements made by the Secretary of Homeland Security in the March 20, 2025 video posted above.

May 13, 2025 – The National Desk

The big drug bust is seen as huge success after large amounts of cartel product are able to move past all federal efforts to keep cartel product from entering the US.

US Coast Guard, US Navy, DOD ground units and the jurisdiction of US Dept. of Homeland Security federal agents checking REAL ID (since 2009) at borders, border crossings and ports of entry fail to keep newsworthy amounts of drugs from arriving inside the US at various locations.

Sorry, no time for questions from newspeople at the network studios in the schmoozy interview posted above.

Our questions appear in bold type below.

Some version of REAL ID has been required at border crossings and ports of entry since 2009.

Standard driver’s licenses have not been accepted at border crossings and ports of entry since 2009.

What got better?

How do cartels react to opioid lawsuits?

Have opioid lawsuits been able to create any shortage of opioids anywhere in the US?

Would the DEA be out of work if Kristi Noem and a $51.6 billion (every 12 months) US Dept. of Homeland Security was able to prevent cartel product from arriving in various parts of the US?

Welcome Home Troops

Thanks for doing time/risking your ass in Iraq and Afghanistan, working to keep a post 911 USA safe & secure.

Cartels move product into all 50 states:

DEA High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas:

“…HIDTA-designated counties are located in 50 states…”

Don’t worry-The Super Bowl and public affairs will be safe:

Americans were told they faced a life and death situation after 911. If certain actions were not taken, terrorists could come to America to disrupt our way of life and attempt another 911.

If all this was a life and death situation that required sending the troops to Iraq and Afghanistan, wouldn’t it be important to ask a few public policy questions about what was going on?

Old Drug War – Cartels Respond & Move More Product Into The US

Has General Milley’s Operation Macho Swagger reduced access to cartel product anywhere in the US?

When is the last time DOD/DHS was able to create any shortage of cartel product in the Puget Sound area?

Has there been enough time for newspeople to ask questions?

Newspeople remain silent.

WWII costume reminds us of a time before decades of undeclared/unwon wars stacked up.

The Department of Defense track record goes back to 1949.
