New Orleans – Armed Forces Recruiting Crisis

More Than Two Decades Past 911

More than two decades of GWOT and US Dept. of Homeland Security experience/lessons learned was not enough to prevent New Year fatalities at New Orleans.

Who is in charge?

The same elected officials and law enforcement authorities who work to calm the public by looking into the future and announcing that no credible threat exists.

Newspeople play along by not asking questions.

Highest level LE authorities/US Dept. of Homeland Security and the FBI played no role in preventing the “horrific act of terrorism” in New Orleans.

Now, they are ready to say there is no credible threat at another location.

Zero questions from newspeople at the TV studios. That’s what keeps the fake GWOT rolling along.

No Credible Threat? – Newspeople Play Along By Not Asking Questions

Everything Is Under Control

At 33:20 in the video below, we hear from a Chief of Police who wears four star general rank.

The Chief explains with confidence:

The bad guy (A US Armed Forces veteran who was once deployed to Afghanistan) was able to drive past whatever concept of vehicle barriers were in place and on up the sidewalk.

Also on New Year’s Day, an active-duty United States Army Special Forces soldier died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head immediately prior to the explosion of the truck he was driving. Seven bystanders were injured by the blast.

Master Sergeant Livelsberger “…was in the Army for 19 years, deploying to several countries, including Afghanistan, Ukraine, the Republic of the Congo, Tajikistan, and Georgia, receiving several commendations for his service. Livelsberger had been heralded in January 2010 for collecting donations for children in Afghanistan in May 2009, and was later awarded two Bronze Stars, including one with a valor device for courage under fire, a Combat Infantryman Badge and an Army Commendation Medal with valor.”

What does this say for recruiting?

Decades after the lessons of Vietnam, the Pentagon seems to specialize in undeclared/unwon wars. Understandable why young people & their parents & grandparents would take a dim view on all this.

Thousands of American families have now had a loved one who did one or more tours in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Will they support new enlistments?

Many big celebrities came out to support their candidate in the weeks leading up to the recent election. Always wondered how the big celebrities felt about the years of undeclared/unwon DOD wars that followed the catastrophic military failure of 911. Asking questions on this topic appears to have been completely off limits to the press.

American Families

Will you send the young ones to enlist and support a country that operates:

A giant/$51.6 billion (every 12 months) US Dept. of Homeland Security with more than two decades of experience and lessons learned that was also not relevant in preventing fatalities at New Orleans?

Will you send the young ones to enlist and support a country that struggles with veteran suicide?

Will you question the idea that US troops are sent to distant lands to defend American rights and freedoms?

Will you question the idea that Americans were told they faced a life and death situation after 911 that required sending the troops to Iraq and Afghanistan to keep a post 911 USA safe & secure?

Will you question the idea that sending troops to Iraq was essential to keep terrorists away, but somehow, cartel drugs are able to show up in all 50 states?

Cartels move product into all 50 states:

DEA High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas:

“…HIDTA-designated counties are located in 50 states…”
