Nov 26, 2024 update:

Cleaned the gutters. This is what I found. 60 days after last cleaning:

It may sound excessive, but I check and clean my gutters every 60 days during the wet season. We are in an area with pine needles. Some may be blowing over onto our roof from adjacent properties. Every 60 days, I find enough debris to make it worthwhile to go up and clean the gutters. The entire gutter is not full of needles, but a significant amount has been pushed over towards the top of the downspouts.

Here is a gadget I have been using for years, and they work very well:

Amazon 2″Stainless Steel Spring Gutter Strainer (for 5-inch/Standard gutters)

Also have had good success with one of these:

When spring comes, we’ll clean the siding again.
