Megan Rapinoe Is Still Changing the Game
“Money is the way our society shows people, especially in sports, how we value them,” Rapinoe says.”
“We know exactly what’s in a contract every time a man signs it. We never know what women make. Why is it?”
Some people would consider sports to be a part of the entertainment industry.
Various sports, music concerts, movies, plays, motorsports and comedy clubs sell tickets at different prices for different artists, acts and events.
US Army – Equal Pay
The US Armed Forces needs to recruit average people from average high schools who are willing to do time in uniform.
There are 40 year olds who can run a marathon, but they are too old to sign up, because the average person, even at 18 or 19 years old, may struggle, or may not want to do time in uniform.
DOD does not rely on Olympic athletes to show up.

Army Mulls Returning to Gendered Fitness Standards over Complaints of ‘Lopsided’ ACFT
“…early data shows nearly half of female soldiers can’t pass the test and might face being removed from service once it becomes official next year.”
“…it’s unclear what the final test and scoring standards will look like, given that data strongly suggests many female soldiers will be kicked out if the test stays as is.”
“Army leaders must balance how to improve fitness while not eliminating women’s ability to serve, he said.”
“For example, an infantryman would have higher testing standards than a cyberwarfare soldier.”

House lawmaker grills Army officials on gender bias, including ‘lopsided’ combat fitness test
“Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., grilled Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Grinston on why so many women are unable to pass the service’s new combat fitness test.”
“The test shouldn’t be structured in a way that is unfair and makes it so lopsided that it’s impossible for women to really be able to succeed and that definitely will reflect in your recruitment and retention efforts. So it looks like you have a problem and I hope you recognize that.”
“The Army Combat Fitness Test has long been criticized by Congress for its design, which lawmakers say comes at a disadvantage for women who struggle to pass the test. Data revealed in April shows 44% of women failed the ACFT, compared to 7% of men, Wasserman Schultz said.”
