Why Now?
Young children may not be able to be present in school to memorize and recite their pledge to the flag.
Not much good news from the undeclared wars overseas.
Sporting events have been shut down to fan attendance. Without fans present, thousands of people are not able to witness the routine militarized pageantry that is part of pre-game and halftime ceremonies.
It’s been a while since Secretary of Defense Dr. Mark T. Esper reminded us that our Service Members are fiercely defending the freedoms we value every day.
This is a great time for an ongoing militarization of non-military events, and we are the very best at militarized pageantry.
Both major parties are good with promoting strong military forces and most people will go along.
How Do The Troops Defend The Constitution?
Not asking about the oath of enlistment. Asking about what happens after the oath has been taken.
