I enjoy the occaisional trip to get fast food. I’m glad these places are open.

Normal food handler protocols are OK with me, even now.

A new TV ad campaign promotes touch free service at the drive thru.

Old protocol:

Staff member hands over a sack of food to customer, after customer pays with cash, coin, or card.

New protocol:

Staff member places sack of food on tray and extends tray towards customer, so that customer may take sack of food from tray.

Does the tray kill germs?

In some cases the person who placed the sack of food on the tray is also the cashier.

The cashier is constantly handling cash, coins, and credit or debit cards.

None of this will keep me away. Just wondering how many TV viewers see the magic tray as a plus.
