Past results:

Seattle- $5 million waterfront cameras haven’t worked one day

“Approximately 30 surveillance cameras were installed in late 2012 and early 2013 along the waterfront area and Alki as part of a Homeland Security Grant…”

 

One thing to consider Re: federal LE intervention is- what laws will they attempt to enforce?

Here in Washington State- federal law is different from state law.

Two examples are highway checkpoints & marijuana:
