CENTCOM forces kill ISIS’ chief of global operations in precision airstrike

“A U.S. airstrike in western Iraq on Thursday killed the ISIS’ chief of global operations who also served as ISIS’ second in command, Abdallah Makki Muslih al-Rifai, also known as “Abu Khadijah,” along with one other ISIS operative, U.S. officials confirmed.”
DOD has been working to stabilize the region since the 1990 Operation Desert Shield.
I am not smart about how many top terrorist leaders have been taken out since that time. Seems like the pattern of taking out number one and number two terrorists has repeated itself in the decades following the first US action in Iraq.
