“Drug overdoses are a daily reality in the City of Bellingham and much of western Washington.”
“The deadliest drug of them all is the synthetic opioid fentanyl.”
“We respond to multiple overdoses every day,” said Jeremy Woodward, Bellingham officer.”
“Given the fact drugs are so easy for addicts to find across Whatcom County these days, police are discovering a new way to detect them.”

Today, it seems as if the press promotes whatever message is handed down by elected officials and government agencies.

The US Dept. of Homeland Security has more than two decades of experience and lessons learned in the GWOT and the War on Drugs. If the dogs can find fentanyl in local communities why are DHS dogs not preventing fentanyl from entering the US?
Does CBP in Western WA create any advantage in preventing fentanyl from showing up in Bellingham, Whatcom County, Lake Stevens, Marysville and Anacortes?
Are passports/enhanced/REAL IDs effective in keeping cartel drugs out of the US?
