If The Troops were an NFL team, sports talk radio would feature comments like:
The Troops were nowhere to be found on 911. We haven’t won a war since.
The Department of Defense track record goes back to 1949. How many US wars have been won since then?
Sports can be discussed in honest ways in mainstream media.
The Troops:
Richard T. Gromlich, retired rear admiral with the Coast Guard: “Today, our military members around the world continue to put service before self. They proudly serve to ensure the freedoms we enjoy today. I couldn’t be more proud of the men and women who serve today. They are the best of best.”

The Press is ready with a military solution to the unsecured portion of the airport:
ABC News: More Armed Officers Could Help Prevent Airport Shootings: Expert
“They have become a common sight at many U.S. mass transit hubs since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 — armed officers, such as National Guard members in camouflage and with weapons visible.”
It’s all a normal thing in NYC-

The press has taken three points of attack in dealing with the Ft. Lauderdale shooting. It’s a gun issue. It’s a terrorist issue. It’s an airport security issue. We need to restrict guns, stop the islamists, and watch harder at airports.
No, m*****rf****rs, it’s a Failed Wars That Never End issue. It’s a Why Don’t We Count The Cost Of Taking Care Of Our Veterans issue. ‘Cause after all, they’re all heroes, right? Until they go crazy and kill someone, and suddenly they’re not heroes anymore. And we blame everything, everyone, except our own damn selves for creating what just happened. Why doesn’t the press talk about that?
Want to prevent airport shootings by veterans with mental issues? We maybe shouldn’t have gone halfway around the world on a false mission to “protect freedom,” f***ing this young man’s head up in the process, and we wouldn’t have to deal with the fallout.
