DSC_0149Both major parties are OK with ongoing, undeclared wars overseas, the drug war racket, & a Dept. of Homeland Security that can’t keep heroin out of the US.

Wars-

Winding down because US officials are ready- or leaving because host governments say the US is no longer welcome to stay?

US not welcome to stay in Iraq

US not welcome to stay in Afghanistan

Marijuana-

Take a look at the first states to approve medical marijuana. These states authorized medical use of marijuana based on voter initiatives- not action taken by elected officials. Ditto for both states that have said yes to recreational use of marijuana.

Is there anything written into a state or national party platform by either of our major political parties indicating they are interested in marijuana legalization or ending The Drug War?

It took a constitutional amendment to prohibit the sale of a glass of wine- why no constitutional amendment to authorize a federal war on drugs, drug czar, prohibition of marijuana, etc.

Heroin & The US Dept. of Homeland Security-

“…a department with more than 20 different agencies, a budget of more than $45 billion and a staff of hundreds of thousands of civilian, law enforcement and military personnel.”

Heroin use on the rise.
